For families spread across cities or countries, much of what I do can be handled by video.
Where the Islamic requirements can properly be met, a Nikkah can be performed over video. The bride, the wali and two Muslim male witnesses each join the call, the mahr is confirmed, and the offer and acceptance are made and recorded. Before any date is confirmed I check each requirement with you, and if something does not meet them I will say so plainly rather than proceed.
Islamic divorce matters can also be handled entirely online. Consultations are held by video, documents are exchanged securely, and each party can be spoken to separately where that is appropriate.
Counselling sessions and consultations are available by video anywhere in Australia and overseas. An online Nikkah is a religious marriage and does not create a legally recognised marriage in Australia; couples who need both can hold the civil ceremony separately.
