Islamic Nikkah

Your Nikkah can be held at home, at your venue or at a masjid, for an intimate gathering or a large one. Before the day I confirm the wali, the two witnesses and the agreed mahr with both families, so nothing needs to be negotiated in front of your guests.

You choose how much of the ceremony is spoken in English and how much in Arabic. I will share the wording with you well in advance, including the khutbah and the du'a, and adjust it to the families in the room.

Nikkah documentation is issued on the day. A Nikkah on its own is a religious marriage; if you also want the marriage recognised under Australian law, the civil ceremony can be combined with it.
